Multi-awarded singer, actress and television host Vina Morales is very talented actress. She is a pure filipino, her parents are both filipino from Cebu City philippines.

I remember when I was a child, I am a big fan of her. I saw all her movies and shows, and I collected a lot of picture of her. Year 1996 I met her in person, She was so nice with me and we had talked our owned dialect bisaya. Vina is very loving and friendly person.

As her age of eight she wanted to be a singer. And She started to sing in church with the choir, sing at school at the town plaza during fiestas and special occasions. She loves the fact that people would come to watch her. When Vina was nine, Malinao asked her to interpret his entry "Paglaum" at the Cebu Pop Musical Festival, where she was noticed by a talent scout.

Soon after, she was headed to Manila and" That's Entertainment" Sharon Magdayao(Vina's real name) Mama Mina Aragon, as Vina fondly calls her, was her second mom. "She gave me the name "Vina" which was taken from her daughter's name Vina Vanesa".

It was a pleasant surprise for Vina and her family that representatives from Viva films were among those who saw and heard the 10-years old singing phenomenon. Right there and then, She was offered a contact by the movie outfit to sing and act.

Being such a loving and supportive family, the Magdayaos sold everything in Cebu and came to Manila. With neither kin nor connect in the big city, her parents entrusted Sharon to Mina del Rosario, lady boss of Viva Films, to handle her bid for stardom and success. They did the right thing.

First Movie Break as an actress, her first break was in the movie "Nakagapos na Puso" with Lorna Tolentino, Tonton Gutierrez and Vina's childhood idol and namesake, Sharon Cuneta. Only 10 at the time, she played the role of Tonton's niece to the hilt. Her first lead role was in Anghel na Walang Langit," Where she made a super and convincing turn by playing a prostitute and a proper girl at the same time.

She does not mind being given titles at all. " All I know is that I've been working hard in my life since I was ten. I value all my hard work.
